This program facilitates the evaluation of the Net Present Value (NPV) for multiple projects simultaneously, enabling a comprehensive analysis of their financial viability. The Net Present Value, a crucial financial metric, considers the time value of money to assess the profitability of an investment by calculating the present value of future cash flows.
Out & About API
API used to service the Out & About website with data from a PostgreSQL database. Request, create, delete and edit description, location, and time information for historical pride related events throughout history.
Josie Annes Patisserie
An concept ecommerce website for the business of Josie Anne's Patisserie. The admin can log in and have CRUD functionality on orders and see responses for Afternoon tea and Cake orders. A user can register and login, add items to cart and shop from both Collection items and Delivery. Payment functionality set up with Stripe API through a webhook.
Plan My Run
Plan My Run is a website which allows runners to plan a run. It gives them the ability to choose a starting location, time, day, and then to map out their route with mouse clicks or finger taps. The running will receive weather information for the time and day, and a distance update on each click of the route they are planning.
CLI Battleship
This is a command line version of the classic game battleships. The program allows the user to place their ships on their side of the board and then attack the computers ships on its board. The first to make 17 hits wins the game. If the user wins their username and time is added to the leader board and if they are in the top 3 they will show teh next time the opening screen is loaded (using the Google Sheets API).
Linear Regression
A Jupyter Notebook using Python (without any libraries) to perform matrix manipulation used in Linear Regression. This includes matrix addition, subtraction, transpose, determinant (a 2X2 matrix), inverting (a 2X2 matrix), multiplication, dot product, and then using all this to find the best fit of a linear regression model.
Out and About - Collaborative Project
Out and About is an exciting project that aims to create an interactive world map showcasing Pride events happening across different countries. This Full Stack project focuses on promoting inclusivity, diversity, and the celebration of LGBTQ+ communities worldwide. With the Out and About platform, users will have the opportunity to explore a dynamic map that highlights some important Pride events.
